1Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions of mymocktest ("we", "us", "our"). It governs all paid Subscriptions, plans, packs, passes, and other purchases made on the website mymocktest.com or the mymocktest mobile application (collectively, the "Platform").
By making a payment on the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Policy in its entirety. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not proceed with the purchase.
2General Policy: All Sales are Final
mymocktest operates as a digital service that grants instant, irrevocable access to premium content, mock tests, analytics, previous year papers, and other proprietary educational resources immediately upon successful payment.
This no-refund policy applies regardless of:
- Whether you have used the Subscription, partially used it, or not used it at all;
- The number of mock tests or features you have accessed;
- Any change in your personal circumstances, examination plans, study schedule, or financial situation;
- Any change in the examination notification, syllabus, postponement, or cancellation announced by the examining authority;
- Your performance, results, or selection outcome in any examination;
- Your satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the content, presentation, or quality of the Services;
- Any other subjective reason not specifically covered under Clause 5.
3Why Sales are Final
We maintain a strict no-refund policy for the following reasons:
- Digital, instant-delivery nature: Upon purchase, you are granted instant access to mock tests, question banks, video solutions, analytics, and other proprietary content. Unlike physical goods, digital content, once accessed, cannot be "returned";
- Content protection: Allowing refunds after content has been viewed or used would expose our proprietary question banks, solutions, and methodology to misuse and unauthorised distribution;
- Operational costs: A significant portion of the Subscription fee is allocated towards content creation, payment gateway charges, hosting infrastructure, taxes, and staff time, which are incurred immediately upon purchase;
- Fairness to all Users: A no-refund policy ensures consistency, transparency, and fairness to all paying Users.
4Try Before You Buy
Because all paid Subscriptions are non-refundable, we strongly recommend that every prospective User evaluates the Platform thoroughly before making any payment. To help you do this, mymocktest offers:
- Free sample mock tests for most supported examinations;
- Free daily practice questions available without any payment;
- Free preview access to selected previous year papers and section tests;
- Detailed feature pages explaining what each Subscription includes;
- Transparent pricing displayed before checkout with no hidden charges.
If you have any doubt about whether the Platform meets your requirements, please write to support@mymocktest.com for clarifications before making payment. Once payment is made, no refund shall be admissible on the ground that the Subscription did not meet your expectations.
5Exceptions: Cases Where a Refund May Be Considered
Notwithstanding our general no-refund policy, mymocktest may, at its sole discretion, consider refund requests in the following limited and clearly defined cases:
5.1 Technical issue on mymocktest's side
If, due to a verifiable technical fault attributable solely to mymocktest, you are unable to access or use the purchased Subscription for a continuous and extended period, despite reasonable troubleshooting and support from us, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund. Examples of qualifying technical issues include:
- Subscription not activated within 48 hours of successful payment despite multiple support attempts;
- A core feature you have specifically paid for being permanently unavailable due to a backend failure on our side;
- Content you have explicitly paid for being entirely missing or inaccessible due to our fault.
Issues caused by your device, internet connection, browser, OS version, app version that is outdated, or any third-party service shall not qualify as technical issues on our side.
5.2 Duplicate payment
If, due to a technical or banking error, the same Subscription has been purchased and paid for more than once, resulting in duplicate charges within a short window (typically within 24 hours), the duplicate amount(s) shall be refunded after verification of the transactions.
5.3 Payment debited but Subscription not activated
If your payment has been successfully debited from your bank account, card, UPI, or wallet but the corresponding Subscription has not been activated within 48 hours and remains inactive even after our support team's intervention, the amount shall be refunded subject to verification of the transaction with the payment gateway.
5.4 Service discontinuation
In the unlikely event that mymocktest decides to permanently discontinue a specific Subscription, plan, or service that you have currently paid for and where significant validity is still remaining, we may, at our sole discretion, offer either a pro-rata refund for the unused portion or an equivalent credit / migration to another comparable plan.
5.5 Erroneous higher charge
If you have been charged an amount higher than the published price of the Subscription at the time of purchase, the excess amount shall be refunded.
6Cases NOT Eligible for Refund
For absolute clarity, the following circumstances do not qualify for a refund:
- Change of mind, regret, or buyer's remorse;
- Lack of time, inability to use, or non-utilisation of the Subscription within its validity period;
- Change in your examination plans, target exam, or career goals;
- Postponement, cancellation, change in pattern, change in syllabus, or any other change in the examination by the examining authority;
- Failure to clear, qualify, or be selected in any examination;
- Dissatisfaction with content quality, difficulty level, language style, or presentation of any mock test, solution, or other Content (these are subjective assessments and not grounds for refund);
- Discovery of typographical errors, factual inaccuracies, or content corrections in individual questions (we will correct such errors as quickly as possible but they do not qualify for refund);
- Comparison with competitor platforms, lower prices on competing services, or availability of similar content elsewhere;
- Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to content piracy, account sharing, unfair practices, or fraudulent activity;
- Loss of access due to forgotten password, lost device, or change of phone number, where you have not updated your Account details;
- Issues caused by your device, hardware limitations, slow internet, browser incompatibility, outdated app version, or any other factor outside our reasonable control;
- Promotional, discounted, festival, or free-trial-converted purchases — unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase;
- Purchases made by minors without parental consent — such purchases should be raised with the parent / guardian and not as a refund request;
- Subscriptions transferred, gifted, or shared with another individual;
- Purchases made via promotional credits, coupons, referral bonuses, or other non-monetary credits.
7Duplicate or Failed Payments
If your bank account or card has been debited but the transaction has not been credited to your mymocktest Account, this usually means the payment is in an intermediate state and the funds shall be:
- Automatically credited to your Account by our system once the payment gateway confirms success (typically within 24 hours); or
- Automatically reversed to your original payment method by your bank if the payment gateway reports failure (usually within 5-7 business days).
If neither happens within 7 (seven) business days, please contact us at support@mymocktest.com with the transaction reference number, payment screenshot, date and time, and registered mobile number / email. We shall coordinate with the payment gateway to resolve the matter.
8How to Request a Refund
If you believe your case falls within one of the eligible exceptions listed in Clause 5, please raise a refund request as follows:
Email us within 7 days
Send an email to support@mymocktest.com from the email address registered with your Account, within 7 (seven) days of the date of the issue / transaction.
Include required details
Mention your registered mobile number, full name, transaction date and time, payment transaction ID, amount paid, the Subscription / plan purchased, and a clear description of the issue along with supporting screenshots if any.
Reference clause
Mention which clause of Section 5 you believe your case falls under (e.g., "Technical issue on mymocktest's side", "Duplicate payment", etc.).
Cooperate with verification
Our team may request additional information, logs, screenshots, video recordings, or transaction references to verify your claim. Please respond promptly.
Requests received after 7 (seven) days of the underlying event may be considered at our sole discretion but are not guaranteed to be processed.
9Review & Processing
Upon receipt of a refund request:
- We shall acknowledge the request within 2 (two) business days;
- Our team shall review the request based on the eligibility criteria in Clause 5 and may request additional information;
- We shall communicate our decision within 7 (seven) to 10 (ten) business days of receiving complete information;
- If approved, the refund shall be initiated as per the timeline in Clause 10;
- If rejected, we shall provide a brief reason for the rejection.
Our decision regarding the eligibility, quantum, and mode of refund shall be final and binding.
10Refund Timeline & Mode
Approved refunds shall be processed as follows:
- Mode of refund: Refunds shall be made only to the original payment method used for the transaction (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, or wallet). We do not provide refunds via cash, cheque, demand draft, alternate bank account, or any third-party payment method;
- Initiation: Refund shall be initiated by mymocktest within 5 (five) to 7 (seven) business days of approval;
- Credit to your account: Once initiated, the refund shall typically reflect in your account within 5 (five) to 10 (ten) business days, depending on the payment gateway, your bank, and the payment method used. In some cases, it may take up to 14 (fourteen) business days;
- Deductions: Any payment gateway charges, transaction charges, GST, or government taxes that are non-refundable to mymocktest from the payment gateway / authorities may be deducted from the refund amount;
- Communication: You shall receive confirmation of the refund initiation via email or in-Platform notification along with the refund transaction reference (ARN), where available.
mymocktest shall not be responsible for any delay caused by your bank, card issuer, payment gateway, or any other party in crediting the refund to your account.
11Cancellation by User
Users may stop using the Platform and discontinue their Subscription at any time. However, please note:
- Stopping use of the Platform does not entitle you to any refund for unused validity of an active Subscription;
- Active Subscriptions shall continue to remain accessible on your Account until the end of their original validity period;
- You may delete your Account at any time by writing to support@mymocktest.com. Account deletion does not result in any refund of paid Subscription fees.
Currently, mymocktest does not offer recurring or auto-renewing Subscriptions unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase. Each Subscription is a one-time payment for a defined validity period.
12Cancellation / Termination by mymocktest
mymocktest reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or terminate any Subscription and User Account at its sole discretion in cases including but not limited to:
- Breach of our Terms and Conditions or this Policy;
- Engagement in any Prohibited Activity, including but not limited to content piracy, sharing of Account credentials, distribution of mock test content on third-party platforms (Telegram, YouTube, WhatsApp etc.), use of unfair means, cheating, or fraudulent activity;
- Initiation of an unjustified chargeback or payment dispute;
- Provision of false or misleading information during registration or use of the Platform.
In all such cases, no refund of any kind shall be provided, and mymocktest reserves the right to pursue all legal remedies available to it.
13Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you have a concern with any transaction, we strongly request you to first contact our support team at support@mymocktest.com before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. We are committed to resolving genuine issues amicably and promptly.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us and giving us a fair opportunity to address the matter may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your Account;
- Forfeiture of any active Subscription, validity, or credits;
- Blacklisting from creating future Accounts on the Platform;
- Recovery action including legal proceedings for any losses, damages, chargeback fees, and other costs incurred by mymocktest as a result of the wrongful chargeback;
- Reporting to the payment gateway and credit bureaus, where applicable.
If a chargeback is initiated maliciously or fraudulently, mymocktest reserves the right to contest the chargeback with documentary evidence of legitimate use of the Subscription.
